Monthly HPC Café: NHR@FAU Hardware Development 2024/25 (December 19, hybrid event)
The next HPC Café takes place on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. as a hybrid event. As always, there will be plenty of time to get in touch with your favorite HPC group. We invite you to come to RRZE to have coffee and cake, just like old times.
The event will start with the open coffee chat and Q&A, at 4:00 p.m. At 4:30 p.m., the presentation will begin.

Abstract: As the year 2023 is ending we want to look forward into 2024 and beyond. We will present the result of our recent procurement which will lead to the installation of new, powerful CPU-based and GPU-based systems in 2024 and 2025. Further we provide an update on the operation of the current systems and the planned decommission of HPC systems (Meggie) in 2024.
