HPC Group
NHR@FAU has six divisions: Systems & Services, Training, Support, Software & Tools, Research, and AI Support. The organizational concept of the divisions covers HPC in all areas involved, including HPC training, application consulting and expert support from the first stage to intensive collaboration with developers and application scientists. Beyond that, they continue the research activities within their communities.
The research-oriented structure of NHR@FAU is further supported by Liaison Scientists, who establish a sustainable link between NHR services and ongoing research in relevant fields.
NHR@FAU also participates in the joint NHR Graduate School, a collaborative effort of the NHR Alliance to support young scientists in the field of high performance computing.
