Funding

The NHR services of NHR@FAU are funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung – BMBF) and the Free State of Bavaria participating in accordance with the resolutions of the Joint Science Conference (Gemeinsame Wissenschaftskonferenz – GWK) for the national high-performance computing at universities.

The Tier3 services of NHR@FAU for the FAU and the region are funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft – DFG, in particular through grant 440719683), the Free State of Bavaria, and the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU).

The BayernKI services of NHR@FAU are available to researchers from Bavarian Universities and Bavarian Universities of Applied Sciences. BayernKI is funded by the Free State of Bavaria via its Hightech Agenda Initiative.
