Executive Board and Scientific Steering Committee
The NHR@FAU director, the NHR@FAU PIs, and the technical director of RRZE form the NHR@FAU Executive Board, which meets regularly to discuss system operations, support and training activities, and budget planning. Compute time proposals are reviewed by a Scientific Steering Committee.

Divisions and HPC group lead
NHR@FAU has four divisions: Research, Software & Tools, Training & Support, and Systems & Services. They provide training, application consulting, and expert support to NHR@FAU; at the same time, they continue to engage in research activities within their communities.
The research-oriented structure of NHR@FAU is further supported by Liaison Scientists, who establish a sustainable link between NHR services and ongoing research in relevant fields.
NHR@FAU also participates in the joint NHR Graduate School, a collaborative effort of the NHR Alliance to support young scientists in the field of high performance computing.
