NHR@FAU Colloquium and First NHR@FAU Results Symposium

We are pleased to announce two events with which we would like to celebrate with you the first two years of operation of NHR@FAU.

On March 15, a celebratory colloquium will look back on the last two years, featuring welcome addresses, scientific talks, and a guided tour to the “Fritz” cluster. This event will be conducted in German.

On March 16, the first NHR@FAU Results Symposium will feature a full day of short talks presenting results that were obtained with the resources at NHR@FAU.

You are cordially invited to attend both in-person events. We ask you to register in advance. Please use the links marked above to see the detailed agendas and registration links.

The Erlangen National High Performance Computing Center (NHR@FAU) was officially established on January 1, 2021. Since then, two new systems (Alex and Fritz) were installed and added considerably to the computational resources available to researchers at FAU. In addition, we have ramped up our activities in the areas of user and project support, training, software support, and research, all backed by a team of system administrators working quietly and diligently to make it all happen.

We are looking forward to seeing you there!
