2 to the power of 8 Euros for the Erlanger Tafel
With a call for donations at its Christmas party, the NHR@FAU collected money for the Erlanger Tafel. Yesterday, 2^8 = 256 Euros (a very satisfying amount, as anyone in the computer business can acknowledge) could be handed over to the head of the social services of the Diakonie Erlangen, Elke Bollmann.
The donation, in which employees of the NHR@FAU as well as invited scientists from chairs closely associated with the NHR participated, is intended to support the Erlanger Tafel in the procurement of food and small Christmas gifts for people in need.
