Celebrating a quarter-century of excellence: The “25 Years of HPC in Bavaria” symposium
On October 13, 2025, the Leibniz Supercomputing Center (LRZ) hosts a landmark event, the “Symposium: 25 years of HPC in Bavaria,” marking a major milestone in high-performance computing history for the region. The symposium brings together leaders from government, academia, and industry in a hybrid format.
The full-day event takes place at the LRZ campus in Garching, with in-person attendance at Hörsaal H.E.009 and a parallel live stream via Zoom. registration for in-site participation is closed, but it is possible to attend the afternoon event via Zoom.
