Anna Kahler and Marius Trollmann from the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) participated in the 2026 President’s Meeting of the ISQBP (International Society of Quantum Biology & Pharmacology) in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The meeting focused on the multi-scale simulation of biomolecules ranging from quantum-level descriptions to highly coarse-grained models. Over four days, they presented their current research and engaged with leading experts from around the world, learning about and discussing recent developments in methods and applications for studying complex biomolecular systems.
We would especially like to congratulate Marius Trollmann from the Computational Biology Group (Department of Biology) and NHR@FAU Liaison Scientist, who received one of the three awards for best poster presentations at the meeting. He presented his work on “Decoding pH-Driven Phase Transitions of Lipid Nanoparticles Through Constant-pH Simulations.“
